Hi Friday!

Hi Friends,

I've been sucked into the life of a graduate student these past couple of weeks and blogging has not been on the forefront of my mind. Case study, after case study, after case study...etc. However, the insane amount of snow we got last week was the perfect chance for me to be able to catch up and get somewhat ahead. Well lets get down right to it being FRIDAY!!!


1) Today is one of my dearest friend's birthdays. Even though he is no longer with us I still remember him on this day! You can read about Pruitt here. Happy birthday my sweet friend, I know you're celebrating in heaven.

2) Well can't go without mentioning probably the most glorious moment this week. One of the biggest rivalries in sports Duke vs Carolina. This girl loves her Tar Heels and they stuck it to the Dookies last night at the Dean Dome. We didn't get to attend the game but that didn't stop us from decking out head to toe in Carolina blue and cheering at the tip top of our lungs. Carolina won 74-66.

One of the greatest moments in the history of the Duke Carolina rivalry. Danny Green I love you. This was in 2008. Besides Dean Smith Danny Green is probably my most favorite thing about Carolina basketball. However, Kennedy Meeks is slowly edging his way into the special place in my heart that Dean and Danny share. 

3) Zulily has had their TOMS event happening this week! The selection has been the best I've seen yet!  I snagged these bad boys and can't wait until they arrive. Bring on spring! 

4) Speaking of spring, the past couple of days and the weekend forecast is being SUCH a tease. Wednesday and Thursday have been sunny and in the upper 60's. A much welcomed change from the 8 inches of snow and 20 degree weather we had just last week. The weekend forecast is looking might fine too! Sunny and upper 60's again!

5) Again, spring fever has hit and that means really wanting to dive into spring fashion and do some shopping. Old Navy is killing me with some of their spring styles along with JCrew. But I digress and will hold of for a few more weeks seeing as it's supposed to be back down in the 30's next week. We've also had 2 thunderstorms this week and you know what that means, 10 days snow!

What's In A Name?

Thank you Mackenzie for this awesome link up! It's interesting to read the meaning behind different bloggers names. Here's mine...

For our wedding we made chalkboards that said Instagram? #walterspartyof2. It was a way for us to be able to see different pictures from our guests perspective. We really love that a hashtag connected all of our friends on our special day. We got to see pictures of our family and friends getting ready, having fun during the reception, and allowed us to see things that we may have missed (since you're pretty much EVERYWHERE on your wedding day). So when I decided to start this blog I chose Walters Party of 3 had to add the puppy girl of course. Simply because that hashtag allowed us to see so many memories and the point of this blog is to document memories. Nothing too special or creative but on our end it really means a lot.
